Brussels
Movement is a way of thinking and sensing through the body — a space where awareness, coordination, and connection can be explored directly, beyond words and fixed forms.
These guided improvisation-based movement workshops take place in Brussels and are open to all levels. They are rooted in somatic practices and draw from contemporary dance, Body-Mind Centering®, mindfulness, capoeira, and selected partnered dance forms such as forró, tango, and fusion dance.
The practice focuses on presence, listening, and exploration rather than performance or choreography. The aim is to develop clarity, ease, and sensitivity in movement — both alone and in relation to others.
What you will develop
- Greater body awareness and coordination
- Ease and fluidity in improvised movement
- Confidence moving with others
- Sensitivity, listening, and presence in contact
- Tools drawn from multiple movement and somatic practices
For whom
These workshops are for people who want to:
- reconnect with their body through movement
- explore dance as a practice of awareness rather than performance
- improve comfort and confidence in improvised and partnered movement
- move in a focused, respectful, and non-competitive environment
- The space supports both beginners and experienced movers who want to deepen their practice of embodied awareness.
