Workshop 1: Foundations of balance and flow: exploring pelvis though dance improvisation by Agnieszka
In this workshop, we will explore the pelvis as an essential center for gravity, energy, connection and even life. Home to vital joints, muscles, and organs, the pelvis plays a key role in how we balance, shift weight, and relate to the ground. In this workshop, we’ll engage its structure and mobility function through gentle movement, touch, and guided improvisation dance. Join us in developing deeper awareness of this powerful center and its influence on the whole body.
Workshop 2: Movement of living bodies by Dima
A practice that combines anatomy and contemporary dance. In this workshop, we will explore the scapula and shoulders. By understanding which muscles move our shoulders, we will discover movements that help us regain a sense of mobility and connection in the shoulder blades and shoulders. These muscles and bones will become the foundation for a deep connection from the fingers to the spine.
